Making the Holidays a Little Brighter!

 

The East Gwillimbury’s annual Toy and Food Drive hopes to make the holiday season a little brighter for families and charities in our community.  The toy and food drive will assist many families within the community who need food and other necessities. The toy and food drive ran from Monday November 21^st to Friday December 16^th, 2022.

           

Since the lockdowns began across Ontario more than 3 years ago, many families have been struggling with trying to keep food on the table and other necessities.  Layoffs and office\business closures, resulting in the loss of many peoples main and/or only source of income. Now more than ever our community needs our help!

 

 The Pileggi Real Estate Team is committed and proud to donate over 200 food and toy items to our annual East Gwillimbury food and toy drive this past Wednesday December 7^th, 2022 at the East Gwillimbury Civic Centre.  Team Leader and Broker Tom Pileggi of the Pileggi Real Estate Team strongly believes that “when people are in need of food, basic items, or kid’s toys, we as a community and surrounding areas need to help and assist whenever possible.”  He feels this helps keep his community and surrounding areas strong.  A community can only be strong together with many hands.

 

The Pileggi Real Estate Team is proud to provide a unique program like “Your Home Sold Guaranteed or We’ll Buy It!*. Pileggi Real Estate Team is a proud supporter of SickKids Hospital, and they actively donate a portion of their income from every transaction. They have also taken a vigorous role in the safety and support of our community - East Gwillimbury and beyond, by means of our “Slow Down for Safety” lawn sign campaign and are happy to partner with local East Gwillimbury fire department to bring awareness to fire safety at our local farmer’s market.
